What is the refund policy?
Because all products are delivered digitally and provide immediate access, all sales are considered final. Refunds are only issued for confirmed account or billing errors. This does not include reasons such as change of mind, accidental purchase, or improper use of service. You can submit a refund request via our contact form. Requests are made on a case-by-case basis and are granted at our discretion.
Do you need an account to download assets?
Yes, you will have to create an account on VFX Oasis in order to access any downloadable content. You are more than free to browse our library without an account, but both paid and free products will require you to sign-up with a valid email address.
Can I use these assets in commercial work?
Yes you can use our products in any commercial work. You may not resell, redistribute, or include our assets in competing asset libraries. Each purchase is for a single-user and so sharing products between users. Visit our licensing information page for more information!
How do I access assets?
Each asset can be downloaded directly from its product page. Access to assets is available while your subscription plan is active. Free assets can still be downloaded if you have an account without a plan.
How can I manage my subscription and account settings?
You can access your account using the account button in the top right of the page. There you can access settings related to your subscription including your past orders, payment information, and cancel your subscription.
Why does footage look grey / washed out?
Our footage comes in a variety of colorspaces and so the “grey” look is because the video is in it’s original LOG view straight out of the camera. In the industry, you’ll be given log footage all the time and it’s your job to apply proper color management during the VFX process. All of our footage will include the colorspace in the name of the file. “VFXOasis_example_footage_slog3sgamut3cine.mov” for example uses the Slog3 Sgamut3cine colorspace. It’s up to you to use a program like davinci resolve to transform from the input color to an output color like srgb or rec709. We give you the original log since it provides more color data as well as let’s you be flexible based on your own VFX workflow. Other sites automatically convert to srgb, but for VFX, it’s important you have the highest quality log footage.
